Members Policy Forum 

This Members Policy Forum is a timely opportunity to come together following the recent Federal Election to consider the next steps for our sector and identify shared priorities for mental health reform in the new term of government.

Attendees will hear from:

• The Hon Mark Butler MP, Minister for Health, Disability and Ageing
• The Hon Emma McBride MP, Assistant Minister for Mental Health and Suicide Prevention (via video)
• The Productivity Commission, presenting on the interim report of the Review of the National Mental Health and Suicide Prevention Agreement
• Mental Health Australia’s Chair, Dr Peggy Brown AO
• The Department of Health, Disability and Ageing
• The National Mental Health Commission
• The National Mental Health Consumer Alliance
• Mental Health Carers Australia

More than 100 sector leaders have already registered. Please note that venue capacity is limited – we encourage you to register as soon as possible to avoid missing out.

This is a free, member-only event. Spaces are strictly limited to two per member* organisation.

The Forum will commence promptly at 8:30am. Registration opens at 8:00am, with tea and coffee available on arrival. Morning tea and lunch will be provided.

Following the overwhelming response to the 2024 Mental Health Sector Expo, MHA Members will again gather in Canberra to network and to exhibit their innovations and organisations with MPs, Senators and staff.
