Parliamentary Advocacy Day & Members’ Policy Forum

The Mental Health Australia Members’ Policy Forum is a well established, interactive forum for all members wanting to contribute to analysis and debate about key strategic issues facing the mental health sector.

Attendance is free for Mental Health Australia members and brings with it significant benefits including the opportunity to stay up to date on our latest advocacy work, reform measures, networking opportunities and the chance to hear the views of other mental health service providers and sector representatives about current issues and challenges.

Major issues arising from the policy forum will be used to inform Mental Health Australia’s upcoming reform agenda and advice to policy makers as we look to the upcoming federal election.

Attendees will have the opportunity to put thier case for change to MPs and Senators during the latter part of the day.

The day is expected to wind up around 4:30 pm.
