MHCA submission to National Mental Health Commission’s consultation on mental health programs and services 2014

The MHCA has made a submission to the National Mental Health Commission’s formal consultation process as part of its review of mental health programs and services.  The submission attempts to identify structural and systemic levers for reform, while still making recommendations for actions that are practical and achievable in a reasonable timeframe.

The submission reflects the preliminary findings of the MHCA’s work on developing for a long-term vision for national mental health reform.  We will be progressing this work in collaboration with our members, consumers and carers, and other key stakeholders, as we seek articulate our vision over the course of the NMHC’s review and beyond.
