Robyn Kruk AM Joins Mental Health Australia Board
Mental Health Australia is pleased to announce the appointment of Robyn Kruk AM to its Board.
“Today we welcomed Robyn Kruk to the position of Board appointed director on the Mental Health Australia Board,” Mental Health Australia Board Chair Jennifer Westacott said.
“Ms Kruk is a prominent and well respected person with immeasurable experience working in the mental health sector and beyond.
“Robyn’s experience incorporates positions as director-general of state agencies including the New South Wales Department of Premier and Cabinet, New South Wales Health, and NSW Parks and Wildlife.
“In addition, she was Secretary of the Department of the Environment, Water, Heritage and the Arts, and established and worked as the inaugural CEO of the National Mental Health Commission.
“In 2005, Ms Kruk was appointed to the Order of Australia as a Member for service to public administration. She has also worked in child protection and as a volunteer crisis counsellor.
“I’m very pleased she has agreed to join our Board, and I look forward to working with her on the major reform task we have ahead of us in mental health.”
