Submission to the Department of Health – Priorities for Mental Health Reform

This submission considers some of the major areas of reform proposed by the National Mental Health Commission’s Review of Mental Health Programmes and Services. It is based on detailed analysis of the Review, as well as feedback from members and stakeholders at Mental Health Australia’s Extraordinary Policy Forum on 5 August 2015. The submission is intended to supplement the Blueprint for Action on Mental Health, and is Mental Health Australia’s final submission to the Department of Health before the Government responds to the Review.
