Keep the money. It's yours.

Are you or your constituents missing out on energy concessions? Don’t miss out on government support.

Mental Health Australia’s 2023 Report to the Nation found the cost-of-living crisis is having a big impact on more than half of Australians mental health, with particular population groups more likely to experience barriers to accessing mental health supports, including First Nations people, LGBTQI+ people, carers and people on low incomes.

One in five found cost to be a barrier to accessing mental health support in the past year.

Mental Health Australia is proud to partner with The Energy Charter for their “Keep the money. It’s yours.” concessions awareness campaign.

Ongoing energy concessions can help reduce electricity and gas bills. Today, many people are facing increasing energy prices and other cost-of-living pressures; however, around 60% of people who are eligible for ongoing concessions are not taking them up.

Do you, or someone you know, have a Commonwealth concession card such as a Centrelink Pensioner Concession Card, Centrelink HealthCare Card or Veterans’ Affairs Gold Card?
